An Afternoon Summer Storm
Aug 7th, 2008 | "An Afternoon Summer Storm"
Today's picture of the day was supposed to be a shot from Evenings in Olde Seville Square. I was going to see my buddy whos band was playing. Right before I was about to head downtown after work, I looked at the radar, and saw the impending doom! A line of severe thunderstorms heading due south. By the time I got to my car It had started to rain, so I decided that I should just head home. I was kinda let down, because I knew that there would be quite a few good photo opportunities. After I passed through a series of heavy bands of rain, I looked up and the clouds were surreal. I pulled over next to the same field I took my previous HDRs. I shot a few dozen sets of bracketed exposures, but this one turned out the best. I am really enjoying shooting HDRs. Well I hope that you all enjoy this shot of the beautiful clouds.

And if you all need some portraits or anything, I am always ready for hire.
