Today I drove down to the Palafox Pier to see if there were any crazy waves from Tropical Storm Fay. When I arrived, the water was a little choppy but nothing out of the ordinary. I was hoping for splashing and crashing and pure fury! Boy was I let down. I did see a huge flock of pigeons eating in the grass next to the pier. Since there was nothing going on in the water I figured that I would check them out. I walked over and most of them kept right on eating, but this one was eyeing me the entire time! I guess I was getting too close, because right after this shot, the entire flock took flight. Oh well, at least I got something out of my trip.
